Our client seeks an Accounting Clerk to join their expanding team in a Direct permanent Position.Responsibilities:- Execute manual processing tasks, including the handling of paper checks received by the organization.- Ensure the accurate processing of invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures.- Record transactions meticulously, managing estoppels, debits, and credits.- Enter invoices promptly and precisely into the accounting system.- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices or payments.- Maintain comprehensive and current records of financial transactions.- Provide support for other accounting tasks and special projects as required.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; preference for an associate's degree in accounting or related field.- Prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in manual processing procedures.- Experience with Real Estate accounting is highly advantageous.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures.- Experience with paper-based accounting processes is beneficial.Benefits:- Comprehensive benefits package including 100% employee medical coverage.- Enjoy half-days during the summer.
